softer look. Make a quilt with several moth blocks or combine
it with an alternate pieced block as seen in the quilts below.

- 7" x 4" Mediums or Darks of three (3) different fabrics for spots on wings.

Step 1: Baste wings with pins,
glue or thread to background. Do not overlap wings in center
of block. Appliqué the wings.

Step 2: Baste Antenna then appliqué.
|
Step 3: Baste Body then appliqué.
|
Step 4: Baste the three different
Spots on each wing (see illustration for placement), then appliqué.
|
Step 5:Trim the background piece to 12 ½" x 12 ½".
