Review: By Dori Hawks

Joining together after they found that they shared a “fondness for the charm of loved and cherished antique quilts,” Pam Puyleart and Terry Albers wrote “Timeless Inspirations” a book containing quilt designs with the antique quilts they both love. Beginning with some general directions through their full sized patterns (including the scalloped edges of one quilt), rotary cutting instructions, super graphic illustrations of assembly, they have written a jam-packed book.

Included in the book are six quilts, and several bonus projects: a cardigan, a purse, pillows and a pin. The “Our Treasures” quilt is a unique variation of a trip around the world, the floral pins are lovely, but easy to do, and the broken dishes variation is one quilt that I would like to do right away.

Look for this book at your favorite quilt shop!
