Christiane has collected seven attractive Christmas projects from six different quilters across the country for “A Few Of My Favorite Christmas Quilts.” The quilts range in size from 30” x 40” to double bed size, and are of varied techniques and levels of difficulty.

A simple Irish Chain is beautifully embellished with original Poinsettia appliqué. Simple Star and Log Cabin blocks are carefully colored to create a secondary diamond pattern. Jaunty foundation-pieced Santas with curly beards make a happy holiday wall hanging.

The Neff family Christmas quilt features Wedding Ring blocks and involves an endearing tradition: each year around Christmas, the quilt is passed from one branch of the family to another; each family member who sleeps under it signs and dates the back, and writes a message.

The Feathered Star medallion quilt is beautifully hand quilted and would look terrific on a table, couch, or wall at any time of year! Of course, all quilts are done in the traditional Christmas palette of colors, some bright and some more rustic in tone.

Instructions are complete and clearly written, with full color illustrations and patterns. A good value!
