This is my husband SSG Charles Miller (Chuck), who is stationed in Baghdad. He has been gone from home since November 2004. As you can see, he has the quilt I made him on his bed. I wanted to make him one before he went so he could take it with him, but I just couldn't get inspired. It was a very difficult time. I asked God to help me because I wanted the quilt to be very special and as soon as I asked I heard that still, small voice telling me to "cover him in prayer". Well, that's what I did. He didn't get his quilt until March, but God's love and protection covered him until then, even still. He loves the quilt because it is a piece of home. I slept with it for a couple of weeks before I sent it to him; I know he can feel the hugs when he pulls that quilt over him at bedtime. Please keep him in your prayers.
