When my son moved out of our house and into his own apartment, I wanted him to have his own quilt to hang on a wall. It had to be something manly, though, so I made this Japanese stepping stone quilt. This 24 X 38 1/2 inch quilt is hung by a dowel with a chain nailed into each end. I called it Dream Path because the three characters made from the same fabric are the symbols for Earth, Air and Water. He is a hiker, did a parachute jump and had been kayaking, so we covered all the bases.
