Lynda was born a Canadian, but raised as a southerner in Florida and has lived there for 53 years. She has been married for 34 years to a wonderful husband, Curt who is a bloodhound trainer and handler with the Orange County Sheriff's office. She has two married sons and two wonderful daughters in law. They live in the country with lots of dogs and/or cats - sometimes cows. Lynda taught painting for 12 years and has been quilting for almost 9 years.
She owns and operates a greenhouse nursery business as well as design, make and quilt for her own pattern company Primitive Pieces by Lynda, which was started in the fall of 2001.
She loves dark dramatic quilts that have bigger pieces and primitive in style, with absolutely NO INSET SEAMS - so that is what she designs.
