I love red, white and blue, especially the indigos of yesteryear. I collected that parts to this quilt
over time. All of them are antique. The four house blocks, then the red and white star blocks, then the
indigos, then the red print and then the red, white and blue feedsack that is the binding and the back
of the quilt. I even bought an antique piece of white to add to the houses, as they were not all the same
size. No wonder the quilter who made them had never used them together! I then took a class on setting
antique blocks into quilts with Sharon Newman and then realized what I needed to do to make this quilt.
