Titles: “English Medallion”, “Cottage Rose”, “Liberty Garden”, and “Baskets & Blooms”
Author: Lisa DeBee Schiller
Publisher: Indygo Junction, Inc.

Lisa DeBee Schiller is a very accomplished appliqué artist of designs that bring about memories of simpler times. From her signature leaf designs to her fantastic roses and birds, each of her books draws you in and excites you into beginning the many projects included in each book.

Each of theses four books has at least 5 different projects, ranging from large wall hangings and lap quilts, to pillows, framed projects, to tablerunners and purses, even a couple of little pincushions are included, all in Lisa’s fabulous style.

The first time I saw the book “Liberty Garden”, I was blown away by the seemingly intricate, but easy to do designs, and how she incorporates just a little piecing with the appliqué. I love how she designs her various scallops in this book and the other books she has written. These books are smaller in size ranging from the 24 pages of “English Medallion” to the 36 pages of “Baskets Of Blooms.” She even combines a little inking or embroidery to add that extra touch to her projects.

These four books are a treat with so many ideas and techniques, with clear illustrations packed into them. Look for them at your favorite quilt shop or order them through Indygo Junction!
