There's nothing like a quilt, to comfort anxious minds.
Its threads are soft and molding, as it's crease and folds unwind.
As we await this war at hand, we reach for things to do.
Quilting with your needle, may just be the thing to do.
We express our thoughts and prayers, using quilts as best we can.
Fundraising efforts of the past are once again at hand.
Blocks of support, with Red Cross Signs, are stitched with "peace" in mind.
They come together in a quilt, like none you'll ever find.
Enjoy the "comfort" of a quilt, like so many in our past.
Its comfort will sustain us, as long as wartime lasts.

A group in Ann's Quilt Shop Patches, Inc is doing some quilts with the Red Cross
symbol on them, raffling them off, and then giving the proceeds to the Red Cross.
