Dori Hawks, the co-creator, editor, and major contributor of theQuilterCommunity.com online magazine, was interviewed recently for ElectricQuilt.com's Newsletter, The Floppy Gazette (Volume 10, No. 2, Winter/Spring 2004). Electric Quilt provides quilt design computer software and books for quilters.

Penny McMorris of Electric Quilt Floppy Gazette interviewed Dori, who uses Electric Quilt to design many of the quilt patterns found on the QuilterCommunity.com. Dori says of Electric Quilt software, "I do most of the patterns [on the site], and found that without EQ5 I would not have been able to do that job."

The Floppy Gazette also includes such features as "Ask EQ", "Show and Tell", and "Works For Me". In past editions, they have interviewed such designers/authors as Karen Combs, Brenda Brayfield, and Karen Hellaby.

You can read this interview in its entirety by visiting ElectricQuilt.com (http://www.electricquilt.com/Users/Newsletters/floppy/102/102p06.htm).

Also, check out theQuilterCommunity.com's Block of the month designed by Ila McCallum, who also designs and teaches Electric Quilt classes.
