This small wall hanging quilt is made from silk fabrics and is machine appliquéd.  The quilt was done for a guild challenge.  The subject of the challenge was to design and make a quilt from something that inspired you.  I had just made a queen size quilt designed by a potter which was the source of the inspiration for Silken Pottery.  I added silk fabrics as part of the challenge to myself.
