|
Cut four 3 ½" x 3 ½" squares .

|
Cut one 3 ½" x 3 ½" square.

Cut one 4 ¼" x 4 ¼" square. Cut in half
diagonally twice.

Cut one 4 ¼" x 4 ¼" square. Cut in
half diagonally twice.

|
Cut two 4 ¼" x 4 ¼" squares. Cut in
half diagonally twice.

Assembly (1/4" seam allowance throughout):
Step 1: Sew four medium/dark
E triangles to four light A triangles along one short side.
Press seams open or toward medium/dark. (Section 1)

Step 2: Sew four medium/dark
E triangles to four dark D triangles along one short side.
Press seam allowance open or toward the dark. (Section 2)
|
|
Step 3: Sew each section 1 to
a section 2 to make a square. Press seams open or toward one side.
|
|
Step 4: Row 1 and 3 sewing
order: A, Step 3 square, A. Press seams open or toward A.
|
|
Step 5: Row 2 sewing order:
Step 3 square, B, Step 3 square. Press seams open or toward B
|
|
Step 6: Sew Rows 1, 2, 3.
|
